Everything you want to know
before you get in touch

Straight answers to the questions people ask most. If something’s not covered here, just drop me a message.

About the service

A complete 5-page website starts from £495. It’s a fixed price, not an estimate. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying before anything gets started and the number won’t change once we’re underway.

If you need something bigger or more bespoke, get in touch and I’ll put a tailored quote together for you.

A complete, professional, ready-to-launch website. Five pages built from scratch, copy written for you, designed to look great on every device, set up with on-page SEO, a working contact form, and unlimited revisions until you’re happy with it. Nothing is held back for a more expensive tier.

Yes, for standard 5-page websites. The clock starts once I have everything I need from you — a brief about your business, any photos or branding assets you have, and confirmation of what pages you want. From that point, you’ll have a finished site to review within 72 hours.

I’ll guide you through exactly what I need upfront so nothing slows things down.

Not a lot. A brief description of your business, the pages you want, a logo if you have one, and any photos you’d like to use. I handle everything else — writing the copy, designing the pages, and building the site.

If you don’t have a logo or professional photos, that’s fine. I can work around it or point you in the right direction.

The Silver package includes 5 pages. The typical structure is Home, About, Services, a Portfolio or Blog page, and Contact — but we’ll work out what actually makes sense for your business before anything gets built.

The Gold package adds 5 SEO-researched blog posts written and published across 30 days, which helps you target more search terms from day one.

If you need more than that, get in touch and I’ll put together a custom quote.

Trust and quality

Every package includes unlimited revisions. If something isn’t right, I fix it. There are no extra charges for changes and the site doesn’t go live until you’re genuinely satisfied with it.

Before I start, I send a discovery questionnaire that asks you to share examples of sites you like — and equally useful, sites you don’t. That rules out a lot of wrong turns before a single page gets designed.

There are examples in the Our Work section on the homepage. If you want to see something more relevant to your specific industry, just ask and I’ll see what I can show you.

No. Copywriting is included as standard in every package. You give me a brief about your business and I’ll write content that represents you well, speaks to your customers, and is written with search engines in mind.

If you’d rather supply your own copy, that’s fine too.

Yes, every website is fully responsive as standard. Given that most people will find you on a mobile device, a site that doesn’t work properly on a phone isn’t just inconvenient — it actively costs you business. Every device, every screen size, fully covered.

Technical

On-page SEO is built into every website as standard. That means well-structured headings, optimised page titles and descriptions, fast load speeds, and content written around the keywords your customers are actually searching for.

SEO takes time to build, but you’ll be starting from the right foundations on day one. If you want to go further with local SEO, that’s available as a separate service.

If you already have a hosting account, I’ll build and deploy the site directly to it. If you don’t have hosting yet, I can arrange it for you for just £25 per year. Either way, the site is yours and you’re never tied to me.

Yes. All websites are built on WordPress, so you can log in and update text, swap out images, or add blog posts yourself without needing any technical knowledge.

If you’d rather not deal with any of that, ongoing support is available and I’m happy to handle changes for you.

Yes. If you need updates, tweaks, or ongoing maintenance after launch, just get in touch. I offer flexible support on a pay-as-you-go basis — no monthly retainer required unless you want one.

About us

Yes. Web Design Stockton is run by Danny, based locally in the Teesside area. You deal directly with the person doing the work — no outsourcing, no junior designers, nobody passing messages back and forth.

No. While the focus is on Stockton and the wider Teesside area, everything is handled remotely so I work with businesses right across the UK. If you’re outside the area, get in touch and we’ll take it from there.

No office, no account managers, no layers of staff taking a cut. When you work with me you’re dealing directly with the person actually doing the work. That means lower overheads, faster turnaround, and no agency markup sitting on top of the actual cost.

Lower price doesn’t mean lower quality. It means there’s no middleman.

Bigger projects

Absolutely. Get in touch with an overview of what you’re looking for and I’ll put together a quote. Larger websites, multiple service pages, blog setups — all straightforward.

Yes. eCommerce and online shop builds are available as part of the Custom package. I build on WooCommerce, which is the most widely used platform for WordPress-based online shops. Reliable, flexible, and straightforward to manage once it’s live.

Get in touch with details of what you need and I’ll put a quote together.

Other services

Yes. Alongside web design I also offer SEO, social media management, and video production. Each service is designed to work on its own or alongside the others as your business grows.

If you’re interested in any of them individually or as a package, get in touch and we can talk through what would actually make a difference for your business.
